Retirement for Army Reservist

I have been working with an Army reservist in GA who was pending discharge after over 19 years of service. He missed drills because of a medical issue. While his command had given him verbal permission to miss drill, there was nothing in writing, until one day he got a notice of proposed separation in the mail. This soldier was facing the loss of his retirement and an Other Than Honorable Discharge. We worked with the soldier and the command, and found out that the discharge action had been revoked, and today he got his retirement papers.
